Mama Pearce becomes Mrs. Pearce

While I sit here pumping while the boys mind and heart are RACING at the thoughts of all I have to do!  I know that I have been a working Mama before...for me it is ALWAYS harder.  I made the decision that my boys wouldn't suffer because I HAD to work.  I mean, they would not sacrifice.  I would do all I could to make it so that they get all the same things as if I was a stay-at-home Mama!  BUT IT IS HARD!  And, I know we are considered the "lucky" ones because I only work part time, have FREE day care from FAMILY, and because of all the time off I have with being a teacher.  But, even with the "perks" I am stressed.

I have been off work for 8 months now...WHERE DID THE TIME GO?...and now we have two boys.  I am trying to figure out how I am going to pump at work to keep up my milk supply for bug, make all his foods, keep getting up with him twice a night, continue to create a super close bond with him, keep teaching Mini all the things he needs to know, get him adjusted to me being away and deal with his separation anxiety (he is like his mama), keep up our crafts, get him to preschool, meet up for playdates, feed them dinner, get one on one time with each of them, make them feel special, keep the house clean, DO THE LAUNDRY, socialize with our friends, see our families, have time with the Hubby, provide a quality education for my students, and BREATH!

I have always dealt TERRIBLY with change and while this seem like EVERYthing is changing....I know we will adjust.  I think that the absolute most important thing that I will ever do in this life is raise my boys....and I often worry that with so much to do, that I will some how fail them.  I know none of us are perfect Mamas...I just hope that they never see me being Mrs. Pearce as a disadvantage to them and that they ALWAYS know they are my #1.  If we could make it with me staying home....we would do it in a second.  But, right now, this is how it is!   I love my boys with every ounce of who I am and just pray....they ALWAYS feel and know this!

So...he is to becoming Mrs. Pearce again!   Time to open the wine...seriously though...I think I need it already! :)

So tonight, while I am a bit blue as reality sets in at the Pearce home and things begin to change again as I morph into working Mama, and as I get overwhelmed with all the "how and I going to', "it is possible", and "God, are you sure" thoughts....I decided it was better I focus on what I am thankful for.  It is ALL in perspective!

-that I am up at night with my babies!  It means my dreams of becoming a Mommy are real and I am have two beautiful miracles that rely on me and need me and find comfort in me.

- that  I do TONS of laundry!  It means my family is clothed and warm.
- that I had to do dishes tonight after dinner.  It mean my family has plenty of food to eat.
- that cleaning my tile takes forever.  It means we have a home to raise our family in and tons of little feet running around to make it dirty.

- that I ALWAYS have snot and dirt on my pants and shirts.  It means my Mini and Bug know Mama is always here for kisses, loves and to be a kleenex.
- that my courtyard is a mess!  It means we had a blast this morning spelling our name, doing math facts, spelling words and making memories.

- that I don't look the same as I did on my wedding day.  It means I have had almost four more years to live with the man God created for me and that together, we made two beautiful boys who I am able to nurse. (but being tan again would be nice)
-that fact that we are always being pulled in a million directions.  It means we have so many family and friends in our life who love us...more specifically our boys.

So, I am thankful!  For EVERY blessing and dream the Lord has given me and all those He will give me in the future!

Happy Girl!

So very happy with this amazing weather!  Spending time with my sweet and funny boys is always FAB ....

but being able to drink my coffee while eating our breakfast in the courtyard is the PERFECT way to start my day!

Watching these two laugh, race, bump into each other, and be silly as Waylon swings Wesson around in his walker are hilarious and special moments that I have always dreamed of.  I have dreamed of being their Mama, long before I ever met them!  Never could I have imagined how amazing it would be!

Oh and I can't leave out playing with all the Halloween decorations!

We even got Daddy into it over the weekend and traced our whole family in the courtyard!  OH THE PEARCES!
And nothing beats a glass of wine in the back patio, after dinner, while both boys swing on the play set in the back yard!  Being there with all 3 of my boys...are my MOST amazing moments and honestly, I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE!

Those smiles and giggles are my whole world!  I love them more than I ever knew was possible!  And, I DAILY thank the LORD for the life he has given me!  I definitely know that I don't deserve all I have! Being Derrick's wife and Waylon and Wesson's Mama.... makes me the LUCKIEST and HAPPIEST woman alive!

Mama and Dada are going to TEXAS.....

So football  is a BIG deal at the Pearce house!

I of course am a loyal and dedicataed BEAR fan and the Hub A LUB likes some other team called the cowboys! :)

So naturally, when the bears met the cowboys in the new Dallas stadium on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL...the hubby was all over it!
He talked me into leaving our precious boys on our first real vacation alone since our honeymoon!  TALK ABOUT NERVES!

So...after some coaxing (wine and xanax) I left a lot of my heart and our little loves with our parents in Fresno and boarded the plane with the love of my life!

I'm smiling but thinking OH SHIT!

We got in and headed straight to a steakhouse!  YUMMY!

Oh and the food was good to!

Sunday, we EXPLORED! We visited the JFK museum which was a lot of fun for my history buff!

Oh the way up to the sixth floor!

Standing on the X where he was shot!
Checking it all out!

Then we headed back to the car and spotted this awesome post office from the 1840's!  LOVE things like that!

Then we headed for some more BBQ and ate a FAB lunch on a river!  Followed by a little Sunday stroll!
This was one of the things you take forgranted when you dont have babies!

We followed it up by headed to Stockyard in Fort Worth!  SO AWESOME!
Longhorns walking down the street

Old shops
and of course awesome Margaritas!  (this was a trend)!

Then we got to see our precious nephew and niece who just moved there with my brother and sister in law!  Special to get to see them in their new element!

After dinner, we went back to room and watched an ENTIRE movie!  If you are a parent...You know we haven't done this in 2.5 years!

Monday, before the game, we headed to the Texas State Fair!  IT WAS huge and CLEAN!  But, I have to be honest...the food didn't have anything on the BIG BIG BIG Fresno fair!
And we got to see BIG TEX!
After that, the gloves came off...IT WAS GAME TIME!

This is how Mama Pearce does Monday Night Football!  PS...those Texas women needs some heels...I know it is a game but COME ON! :)

The stadium was HUGE and unreal!
We were there before they even let us is us waiting to get frisked!

We walked around...grabbed a margarita (hehe)
tried to catch up with my old Gold Rush Sister who is now a DCC star...

bought Derrick a hat we left in the rent a car

and routed on our teams!  IT WAS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE NIGHTS WE HAVE EVER SHARED!  So much fun...
but hey....we cant ALL BE WINNERS!
Monday, we took a drive down to Austin...
But before we got there....we had THE BEST BBQ EVER!  At Clem Mikeskas!  (We even had it the next day too!!)  YUMMY
Saw the state capital
And ate some Mexican food for dinner in a small nearby town called Round Rock!  It was awesome!
Even though we had an AMAZING and much needed time away...THIS MAMA COULDN'T WAIT TO GET BACK TO MY BABIES!
I had a fabulous time with my man!  He is the perfect man for me and I think the Lord for him EVERY day!  BUT,  we won't be leaving again any time soon...this heart of my just can't take it!  Happy to be back home with all THREE of the men who share my heart and make each day REMARKABLE!  I am so blessed and live a life just FULL OF LOVE!!
